If lifting weights in the gym for 1.5-2 hrs 4-5 days a week can’t eliminate the body fat… I got serious health issues…

I have lost a lot a ton of weight….which also reduces the noticeable “gain ” against body fat & and muscle… which SUCKS, since I need to show that difference.

Anyway…

If I’m out $500, it’ll SUCK a$$. NOT JOKING. I’LL CRY. 😭😭 Notwithstanding, I haven’t felt as healthy in a LONG time. Pretty stoked about it. Realistically, I don’t think I could have gotten to where I am without this regime. Simply WANTING, THINKING about, Or SETTING A goal, just WASN’T cutting it for me.

If you need ANY incentive, AT ALL, I’d honestly recommend this Camp Transformation. ANNNDD, I am going to put a plug out there for PLEXUS. The two together have done wonders to me on the inside and outside. If you want to know more, PM me.

I hate sales pitches… or selling anything… But I really DO think these helped. If you really want to experience what it’s like and what happens when you loose percentages in body fat*, you WILL NOT be disappointed. Such an incredible feeling.

*(OF COURSE dropping weight is crazy awesome… but for my proposes, I couldn’t loose 20 lbs… But I know a lot who did, who are proud and happy, and excellent examples for me – we all gots our own battles).

About 2.5 weeks??

I thought I’d update my progress with Plex. At first, I thought it would be something I would be doing on a daily basis. It turns out, not much to say that frequently. I’m at my full doses of 1 Slim and 2 BioCleanse every morning. Two around dinner and 2 ProBio’s at bedtime. What I have noticed is that I really can feel the effects of the BioCleanse. It’s almost like a laxative that keeps you regular and I even just feel better knowing it’s cleaning out the crap in the intestines and gut. I’m not one to jump to conclusions about products in general and what they promise to do. I rather think nothing will happen and be happily surprised when it does. 🙂 I do keep an open mind to the product. If you don’t allow yourself to experience possible change, then it probably won’t; or it won’t be as successful. Your mind is a very powerful thing and I think it can truly affect the effects of products we ingest. I’m not saying that it can eliminate the consequences of whatever we put in our system. For example, shrooms. Yes, the non-cooking kind we eat. The for fun kind. 😉 I know that no matter how much I would want to believe it will not alter my body in any way, I know that to be false.

I can vouch for my bloat deflation.

There is an unofficial statement saying you most likely won’t notice anything significant for 3 months… funny how in that 3 months you’ve dumped $450 into a product hoping that it does. In any case, I’m waiting. Waiting for clearer skin, a more balanced mentality, a more regular digestive process, even the more energy that it claims will come to pass.

Oh, the serious cravings of sugar have subsided. In the beginning, I just stuffed my face with whatever I could get my hands on. I thought I was just hungry. lol. Unfortunately, I gained an extra 8 lbs. My training camp challenge starts the 26th, next week. Excited to see how Plex will work with the intense 6-week regimen. My diet will be micro-managed by the trainers as well. Between the two things I will have introduced into my physical life, I’m anxious and excited to see and feel the results.

If you know me, I always joke about having “old-timers”; since I was 25. I have been forgetting everything! I can’t remember where I’ve placed anything or who I did anything with.

I researched that by merely reading, brain storming, actually writing things down, one could actually decrease the speed or potential brain degeneration process. The main one I’m referring to is what one-site calls “Pillar 4”.

Back in the day I was an avid reader and loved all sorts of board games, puzzles, reasoning and problem solving- like Escape Rooms. After I read all the shocking statistics in the increase of “forgetting everything” by scientists everywhere, I thought, I’d better do something about this. STAT.

Two words. “The Notebook”. Aghhh!

I logged into my trusty, free-shipping Amazon Prime account. 😉 I purchased “Molly’s Game” (Molly Bloom), “Ready Player One” (Ernest Cline), “12 Strong: The Declassified True Story of the Horse Soliders” (Doug Stanton), and “Of Course!: The Greatest Collection of Riddles & Brain Teasers For Expanding Your Mind” by Zach Guido.

I’ve been happily reading and problem solving along the way; fortunately, I actually do enjoy it. Just like exercising or being physically active. Neither are “tasks” nor things I despise. I’ve finished Molly’s Game and will be done with Ready Player One tomorrow I think. Yes, I’ve enjoyed both!

All this said, one of the the biggest preventors of Alzheimer’s?? EXERCISE! Yep. Now you have TWO reasons to getting your body moving. There are several reasons to be breaking a sweat or increasing your heart rate. But, if it’s to decrease your chances of forgetting who you are, don’t you think it might be something worthwhile to explore?

Meeee toooo! Exercise doesn’t have to be just about lifting weights, running miles, enduring Pilates or surving spin class. Stand up twinkle toes!

In any case, here’s why I wrote this post… I’m on my way to finding a happier, healthier lifestyle. I want to do it with the most enjoyment possible. Life is stressfull enough without having to constantly fear about how many ways our bodies are are going to “backfire” on us.

We know our brains will turn to mush because we don’t use them the way we need too. They don’t get the exercise they need. Today, we can just listen to our book. We can just watch it on the screen…and I mean every screen. *On a side note, we’ve all read stats on the numbers of how those who actually used a pen and paper to take notes (versus by laptop), have generally scored higher on exams. Just saying.

Oh yeah, here’s something else to think about..

It’s been 5 days on Plexus..

Ok. I realise that most comments about the first month on Plexus’ Tri-pack aren’t too motivating. Mostly about waiting…

Well, I’m not sure about everyone else, or if I’m an extremely (not just overweight) unhealthy person. My gut is a literal landfill of garbage. The second day in, I’ve had 1 to 2 bowel movements a day. Which, actually seem to help with my bloating. I don’t filled plugged up or as gasey. Which has been a nice change of pace. Not as lathargic, I’d hypothesize.

With the increased runs to the restroom, I’ve also found I’m hungry more. In a way, the more I “poop”, the more I “scoop”… up my fork or spoon. 😂 Addressing my diet was something I had planned to do more about; but after I started Plexus and overcome the crazy illness I’ve had the past few months (I’ll share that later).

I’ve also got 23 days before an intense physical revamp is starting with a vigorous exercise schedule and strict eating schedule. 😯 But, it’s okay, right? THEE WHOLE REASON, I have this blog.

So, that’s my update.

Plexus had arrived!

I’m excited to start my Plexus adventure tomorrow. I’m not a nutritionist, doctor, nurse, or scientist. I can only share my findings based on my body. As everyone states with any product, no two results are the same. Lol. That’s fine. Anyone who thinks that, probably has other unrealistic body perceptions.

You may be thinking, why am I up at this hour? 2:25am. I’ll tell you why. It’s called my grad school application essay. What’s worse, I thought it said 2000 words. About 1000 words into it, I thought, this is crazy. What other fluff can I add? I re-read the instructions…. 2000 characters! Ugh. Now, I need to cut it in half. That’s okay; easier to do. 😉

Regular sleep is something I’ll need to adjust as part of the Plexus plan; any part of living a healthy lifestyle. One of my nemesis.

A little bit of background

Gameplan for this next year

I ran my regular body mass index (BMI) test with those not so terribly accurate handhelds at LA Fitness.  Summer of 2017 and I had been doing cardio for an hour and weights/resistance/pull-ups for an hour; 3 to 4 times a week.  Every workout, I would run in, weigh myself and find out what my body fat reading was; I mentally started to prepare.  It didn’t matter how long I worked out, weights I pushed, situps, chin ups etc… it wasn’t decreasing. My weight actually went down,  but not my BMI.  And so far, I was “very high”.  I despised the little squares blinking as they slowly move further to right whispering… “Jana, you obviously aren’t a healthy person. I mean look at that BMI, crazy high lady!”  Sure, on the outside, one couldn’t tell if I was truly an overweight/obese person. BUT, I knew.  Sure, I could pull down 5.10’s at the local climbing gym. Run a few miles on a whim. Lift weights.  Deep down inside I knew that I could be doing all of those a helluva lot better.

Was it my age, my hormones, Nexplanon birth control, my diet, lack of sleep, the hundreds of injuries I had prior or did I just not have it in me anymore?  I didn’t want to be that 40 something who decided to just toss in the towel and accept my rather depressing future of inactivity and larger clothing sizes (although I had bandwagon’d it a few times).  It bugged me already that a bra I used to wear when I was way heavier, now chaffed my underarms!  I am at my biggest size. According to the Center for disease and control, I was overweight.  My BMI was a 28%.  Ouch! I should be around 18 to 21 percent to be healthy.

What in heavens name?!?

A few years ago, I “liked” some strangers quote on a wall of someone we knew in common.  She reached out to me.  I’m not sure how the convo started, but it eventually lead to information regarding the Isagenix product.  Honestly, I was sold.  But, it was gradual.  I’m not the sort to jump on and try some new product that instantly changes your bodies weight and health.  I knew that it takes time; proper diet and exercise.  I had been watching this gals posts for the past 3 years.  Reading and seeing about all these people she had helped facilitate amazing, and even average, but successful changes.  I figured why not? Well, in the beginning, it was the cost. 600 buck-a-roos.  Hey, I earned a living picking up dog poo from homeowners’ yards for two years.  Yes, I made a few bucks, but not a whole lot of wiggle room to make such a purchase.  And then, when I was finally ready to buy and bought, I was bombarded with a lot of negative reviews and commentary.  I panicked and canceled my order.  I wasn’t sure what to do anymore.  This was my game plan to eating better, and it vanished. Poof!

On a side note, the past few months,  I could feel my health deteriorate.  Right down the toilet.  I have been sick since Thanksgiving.  I’ve had a cough that has lasted about 3 months… which I finally saw a doc for today. Tomorrow I find out what bug is beating me up.

Back to the story.  I stumbled across a post about Plexus.  Here’s the difference.  Instead of it being solely about weight loss,  it was attacking the problem (and increasing body well-being) at a cellular level. At a gut level where your biomes and probiotics come into play.  Something I hadn’t taken into consideration. My mind started turning.  In my Plexus post, you’ll get a better understanding of the product; albeit not exactly short, but then science never is.

Okay, so get my enzymes and other cellular stuff under control. Figure out an exercise routine that holds me accountable. Eat healthy via pre-pared meals, and supplement with meal shakes in the mornings.  Perfect.

The Camp Transformation Center.  My Facebook feed showed this chick with a most awesome body flexing in a push-up stance.  Wow.  I want to be her!  It was advertised as the FREE 6-week weight loss challenge.  You had to go to an interview to see if you could be a contestant. THAT’S where they get you. Throughout the spiel, they casually throw out the concept of off-loading $500 to be held as ransom.  Basically, you either lose 20 lbs or 5% body fat and you get your money back.  If not, you’re out $500.  Based on my size, I needed to lose 5%.  You have to lose it in 6 weeks.  You have to work out a total of 30 times at their gym. Eat a diet they determine prior. Use a food scale (not something I’d ever a second thought to and probably going to be annoying). And as a hard body challenge person, I have to also do after work out, workouts.  This starts February 25th (I’ll keep you posted ;)).

There you a have it.  My game plan to healthier lifestyle and living.  A body I am happy with and in shape.  I was in pretty good shape by late 30’s.  I can be again.  We’ve all read about the 90-year-old grandpa bodybuilder and the 80-year-old lady who can run multiple marathons.  I  need to kick start this bad boy for future happiness.

THE PLAN

Plexus. Body challenge for 6 weeks. Eat Meal plans that send you carefully portioned meals 3 times week.  Isagenix meal replacements for breakfast and lunch or dinner.  Cheap? Not really.  Worth it? I’m counting on it.  I know many of you have kids, maybe a full-time job as well, and most likely a significant other.  It may not fit everyone’s situation.  Fortunately for me, I have the flexibility as a self-employed maid service owner, with no kids.

On a side note, I am going to be working with a physician to see how premenopause, birth control, my Bi-Polar meds are affecting my current situation.  How can they not be?  Game on.

No better way to see results unless there are pictures, right? I’m 41, 5’2, 144 lbs and 26% BMI (overweight). Having been seen 3 times by doctors in the past 48 hours, those are the numbers.

Things can only get better from here! I’ll probably only post pics every 2 weeks so you can actually see progress.
